這是我對祢的祈禱，我主！
擊打、擊打我內心貧弱之根。

賜我力量，使我能輕盈地背負我的歡樂與苦痛。
賜我力量，使我的愛在服務中結實纍纍。
賜我力量，讓我永不遺棄貧賤，也永不向無禮的強權屈膝。
賜我力量，使我的心靈超越日常瑣碎。
賜我力量，好讓我能以愛交出我的力量，來順服祢意。

---strike, strike at the root of penury in my heart.

Give me the strength lightly to bear my joys and sorrows.
